At Panic Thrift, we offer a wide variety of styles, sizes, and unique second hand gems from us to your closet. We are repurposing old clothing in an effort to reduce textile waste. The average American throws away approximately 82 pounds of clothing every year, and out of all that, 85% goes to landfills. That rounds to a total of about 14 million TONS of post consumer textile waste. That number is just rising so recycling clothes is the most sustainable form of fashion! According to the Environmental Protection Agency, in 2018, 17 million tons of textiles ended up in landfills. Our mission is to make that number zero soon. We are just a small business trying to make our imprint on the planet and ecosystem by loving and cleaning it as best as we can. We try to upcycle any unsalvageable items we find and repurpose them to have a new life. We spend a lot of time and resources into curating the best items for you and to invest in eco-friendly packaging.
